8 months since our last competition...
8 months since our last competition, 3 months of no dancing at all, and 3 months to prepare, yet we proudly took the floor in late September dancing in Cleveland's own Cleveland DanceSport Classic!
Thank you to all of our amazing students who danced representing our studio! You all did a great job while faced with things like new levels and material all the way to first times on the competition floor!! Thank you for dancing with us! Thank you for representing Rhythm & Grace! Thank you for sharing your love of dance with us and Thank you for trusting us to help you grow into your best dance selves!!!
Sharon Stahler received 1st place in her Closed Bronze Smooth 3-Dance Challenge and danced some International Ballroom for the first time!
Carmen Hansford moved up to the Gold level and danced new material out on the floor for the first time! She won the Ladies Gold Night Club Multi Dance, the Closed Gold Rhythm 4-Dance, the Closed Gold Ballroom 4-Dance and the Closed Gold Latin 4-Dance! She also landed in the Top 20 dancers of the entire competition!!
Ginet Jensen jumped back on the dance floor taking some first places in her single dances in Night Club and Latin and earned 3rd place in the Ladies A Closed Bronze Latin Scholarship!
Nilsa Criado,while dancing with her daddy Angel, took first place in all of her dances in International Latin!
Rhythm & Grace’s Ballroom Bambinos, Dakoda Hoag, Maria Asmis, Nilsa Criado, Anthony Asmis, and Harley Beasley danced together for their first real competition!! Not only did they mix it up dancing as amateur couples (taking all first places!!) but they also danced two show exhibitions, a Swing and a Waltz! They received first places in both dances with scores of 93.2/100 and 93.4/100 with amazing comments from the judges!! Maria and Anthony Asmis danced in their first 3-Dance Challenge and walked away with first place in the Amateur Closed Bronze Smooth 3-Dance!!! Dakoda Hoag jumped feet first into the ballroom world and also danced pro/am winning first place in the Juniors Amateur Closed Bronze Smooth 3-Dance Challenge!!
Cree & Angel even took to the floor for some fun lead and follow in the night club dances and walked away with first places in all of their single dances!
Angel danced over 200 dances and landed in a select group of teachers called the Hall of Famers for CDSC2020!!
