Policies and Terms of Service



We have ample parking for our suite directly in front of our entrance at the rear of the building. Please avoid the side parking strip (south side of building towards Kmart) where possible.

Physical Condition

Dancing is physical exercise - you participate at your own risk and it is your responsibility to consult your physician to confirm your fitness capabilities before beginning any dance lessons. Please make your instructor aware of any physical limitations or concerns you may have.

Dress Code

Any comfortable, approrpriate clothing that allows for movement is acceptable. Although dancing is an athletic endeavor, tennis shoes or running shoes are not the best type of footwear for dancing as rubber soles prevent smooth movement across the floor. We suggest that you wear dress shoes that you might wear out to a club or wedding. For a woman, shoes that have heel support and an ankle strap are best. For more committed dancers, shoes made specifically for ballroom dancing can be purchased - speak to your teacher about the best options and types of shoes we sell.

Children must adhere to the proper dress code for their classes. Your child must wear a LEOTARD to ALL classes. NO EXCEPTIONS. Dance pants / shorts / tutus / ballet skirts are permitted. Baggy clothing is not acceptable. Hair must be pulled away from the face for all classes and the appropriate footwear on for each class.  Check with your instructor or Ms.Cree for any questions specific to your child's class.

Inclement Weather - Tracking in Snow/Rain, Please be Mindful

Please be mindful of the need of keeping the floor dry and clean for others. In inclement weather, taking your lesson in your street shoes will track water and salt on the floor, necessitating us to clean the floor before the next lesson.  If it is raining or snowing, please bring a second pair of shoes to dance in. 

Children's Class Closings - The children's studio will close if Parma City Schools (PCSD) are closed for a snow day. If your child misses a class due to a snow day, they can make up their class in any other age and skill level appropriate class that we offer. We do not offer refunds if your child's class is cancelled for a snow day.  We also follow PCSD for Holiday closings (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Spring Break etc.)


We accept cash, check and all major credit cards.

Children's tuition is due on the FIRST of the month. Your on file credit card will be charged if your tuition is not paid by the 5th of the month and a $25 late fee will be assessed.  If you are late there times, you will be asked to find another studio.

A $40 bounced check fee will be charged for all returned checks. 

Private Lessons

Private lessons are by appointment only. All private lessons must be pre-paid. 

Cancellation Policy / Absent Child

Regarding Private Lessons, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Any payment for that lesson is not refundable if less than 24 hours notice of cancellation is given - and that lesson will be charged from the student's account. (Special consideration will be given for matters of urgent emergency and is left to the sole discretion of the owners in this circumstance.)

If your child is going to be late or absent for a class(es), please notify the studio.  If notice is given before the start of class, a makeup class will be placed on account in which your child may make up in any other age and skill level appropriate class. The 24 hour rule is not applicable to children's classes.


Refunds of Children's Classes: Refunds are not given for paid for classes.  We will do our best to give you other options (days, times, class styles etc.) for you to finish off your paid classes.  There are no refunds on costumes, attire, recitals, or shoes under any circumstance.

Refunds of Adult Ballroom Dance Lessons: A student may cancel their continued enrollment at Rhythm & Grace for any reason. A refund will be issued for any remaining balance of lessons on account with the studio purchased within six (6) months, minus a $40 processing fee and, if the purchase being refunded was made by credit card, any processing charges associated with the credit card company. Refund will be issued within 30 days of the formal request issued in writing.

Refunds/Cancellations of Outside Events: The organizers each have their own policies on this. We all agree to abide by their rules for these events and will be taken and settled on a case by case basis.

Refunds/Cancellations of Other Services (Workshops/Coaching/et al.): There are several costs associated with hiring outside professionals to conduct special services at the school, including travel and lodging, required minimums and additional studio expenses. Purchases made are non-refundable to the studio in hiring that outside professional.

It is a very rare experience when something does occur to require a refund or cancellation of a student participating in that service and if any refund will be issued it will be based solely on the discretion of the owners and dealt with on a case-by-case basis should the occasion arise, giving due consideration of the individual circumstances, and endeavoring to make it as fair and satisfactory as possible.

Lesson Expiration 

Lessons on account will expire one year after the last lesson was taken on account. For example, if one purchased a package of 10 lessons on January 1st, of 2015, and took lesson number five on February 28th, 2015 and took no lessons during the interim, the remaining 5 lessons would expire on February 27th, 2016. It is up to the discretion of the owners whether to extend this due to extenuating circumstances. The dollar value however, will expire after six (6) months of purchase, after which point, no monetary refund will be considered.


Your personal and contact information will not be shared with anyone for any reason. We will not sell your personal or contact information to anyone.


Please refer to the bulletin board for all information/updates/notices occurring throughout the year.  We cannot talk to each person of every class so this billboard is important, and checking it for notices, offerings, and all studio news is up to you!

Picking up / Dropping off 

All students must be dropped off and picked up in a timely manner an not left before or after classes for an extended period of time.  If a situation arises, please contact the office at 216-524-7829.  All students should be escorted while outside or in the parking lot.  Rhythm & Grace LLC is not responsible for any accidents that occur outside of the studio doors.  Please inform your child(ren) to wait inside the studio until you come inside and collect them.  If someone other than those listed on the enrollment form is picking up your child, please call ahead of time and inform us as well as notify the person that they will need to present some form of ID to collect the child(ren.)


Our year end showcase/recital will be held in the month of June, date to be determined. This event is not mandatory for students, but we encourage it for performance ability anti allows the dancers to show off everything they have been working on. All costumes must be paid for in full before they are ordered (generally by mid January.) Tickets are first come, first serve and when we sell out, they are all gone, no exceptions. All students must stay backstage the entire show. No child will be permitted to leave early for any reason. All students are to stay the entire show.
